Objective / Summary / Function of Job:
This grant funded three year part time ( 21 hours a week) position will provide support to the Convergence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Institute and Research Group within the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Responsibilities will include monitoring budgets maintaining schedules, coordinating events, and purchasing.
Duties and Responsibilities (include other duties that are assigned from time to time):
Responsible for scheduling and calendar maintenance
Process invoices, track budget reports, grant reporting, payments and salaries
Coordinate and assist in events including event schedules, room reservations, note taking for meeting and other related conferences.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondences such as mail and email to various departments within the School and University.
Assist with other related tasks.
C) Qualifications: Education & Experience:
High school degree required
Bachelors degree or equivalent 2-3 years practical work experience preferred
Experience in using technology, such as email, Microsoft and Google docs.
Ability to multi-task responsibilities
Experience with calendar management, and booking and budgeting of events
Customer service skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail while handling multiple with handling several tasks.
