Potomac State College, part of the West Virginia University system of campuses, invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible, Program Assistant II to coordinate conference events and scheduling for the College and catering requests for Dining Services. The incumbent will also provide operational support to the Program Assistant of Housing and Residence Life and the Accounting Clerk of Dining Services.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Serve as initial contact and chief liaison for clients, gathering event details, client information, and ensuring all documentation is in order.
Work with other departments to meet facility and service needs of clients, including academics, housing, catering, business office and maintenance.
Coordinate linen orders with Dining Services when needed.
Maintain the usage calendar for Church McKee Arts Center, Davis Conference Center, The Heritage Room, Catering, and UP Theater.
Coordinate event scheduling for the Armory, academic classrooms, the Riding Arena, the Quad, athletic fields, and both PSC farms.
Provide marketing materials to promote events and communicate activities to the campus community, including keeping the web site updated and developing brochures.
Coordinate events with Student Life Activities planning group.

Pay Grade: 13
Bachelor's degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least one (1) year of experience in each of the following areas:
Clerical/office related work
Professional food service experience
Customer service/public relations or other service oriented professional
Physical requirements include:
The skill, accuracy and visual acuity involved with coordinating multiple tasks and use of office equipment
Ability to bend and lift at least 35 lbs
