OSP is the University's central research administration office, providing services to the academic community in support of research, training, and related activities carried out at the University with external funding.
The Office of Sponsored Programs at New York University seeks a Systems Analyst. The Systems Analyst be responsible for providing technical support for PCs, printers, web applications, creating and maintaining web sites and content, monitoring servers, configuring and updating of all hardware and software, running queries with SQL as well as creating reports, respond to incoming calls and/or emails regarding application support, software registrations and/or hardware problems and other duties as assigned. Must be friendly, have excellent customer service and communication skills and have some experience with virtualization software (Hyper-V), SQL, Adobe CMS, web design applications, Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Office. And, other duties as assigned.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree and
Required Experience: 3 years' professional level experience including development of client/server systems or an equivalent combination, must include experience with development of applications on a relational database management systems, programming, and troubleshooting problems
Preferred Experience: IT Experience in Research Administration Grants Managment Systems such as, InfoEd, SPIN, Commons, Cayuse. Also familiarity with research complians and IRB certifications, Brio and InfoEd reporting, Data Integrity and Oversight.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Ability to plan projects and supervise staff. Abiltity to prioritize work.
