Supports Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. e-Builder is a fully-integrated, cloud-based construction program management information system (PMIS) which allows the account to measure and manage every step of the project delivery process from planning, design, procurement, construction and operations. All capital projects, small and large construction projects, furniture replacements and signage requests are managed via the e-Builder system.
The position is responsible for activities relatd to maintenance, planning, implementation, and administration of the e-Builder project management information system (PMIS) for construction projects within Carilion Clinic. Responsible for ongoing training and user support of departmental staff, organizational staff, and outside agencies expected to use the system. Establishes business practices and procedures for using software to meet program goals, best practices, and specific needs of departmental and system users, customers, and stakeholders. Administrate the use of e-Builder in the areas such as budget/cost control, document control, and reporting. Technical ability is desired to act as a "super" user, including user administration, security and permissions management, user training, configurations and custom reporting queries.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, information systems, computer science or related discipline required.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Proficient computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) required. Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills required. Able to work well independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Experience working in healthcare preferred. Experience utilizing various industry standard Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) systems such as e-Builder preferred.
