Supervise a team of dedicated professionals! We believe that the best place for children to grow up is in a family and the most effective way to ensure children’s safety, permanency and well-being is to provide services that engage, involve, strengthen and support families. The Supervisor of Intact Family Services oversees services to families who have an indicated report of abuse or neglect and are at risk of having their children removed from the home.
Supervisor responsibilities include:
Supervise a team of case managers.
Provide consultation on individual cases on a regular basis.
Evaluate staff performance.
Ensure that DCFS performance standards are met and develop methods to enhance the quality of services.
Provide back-up for team members, including providing services to clients when necessary and providing court reports and/or testimony.
Master’s Degree in Social Work or other human service field required.
Minimum of 5 years child welfare experience required, 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Child Welfare Employee Licensure required.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
