Responsible for performing requirement gathering, analysis planning, data quality assessment, performing analysis, interpretation of the results and communication with different clients across the organization. The candidate should maintain the knowledge of different data sources available at Carilion Clinic; Acquire expertise in any localized/external analytics platforms or software used with the department. Candidate must understand the goals of the 'Client' and apply analytical processes which are technically correct and work eith the clients in interpretation of the findings and use best practices in communication of analytical results. Candidate will validate the information against predefined quality and assurance criteria; produce simple descriptive statistics, high quality visualizations and related descriptions.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education: High school diploma is required. Associates/Bachelor's degree in health informatics, computer science, information systems, healthcare, statistics, business or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience is preferred. Knowledge of office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, email and presentation software) required.

Must be a self-initiated team player with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.
Must be capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with good time management.
Effective oral and written communication, presentation and problem solving skills required.
