The Director of Super Mega Chapters will manage and implement SHRM's SuperMega chapter engagement strategy and initiatives with the goal of increasing satisfaction, communication, engagement, and collaboration that leads to shared business goals and a higher retention of SHRM members within the SuperMega chapters. This position would act as a senior account manager for the SuperMega distribution channel and gives a communication vehicle for a point of contact to service SuperMega's individual needs and unique request. This role will serve as a strategic account manager for the SuperMega chapters and will play a critical role in building relationships with this significant Chapter base. Position will ensure SuperMega chapter satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities to increase alignment with SHRM.
Oversees and manages the super mega accounts and all stakeholders including HQ leads and Field Services Directors, spearheads with input from all stakeholders of in person SuperMega meetings at HQ, Volunteer Leaders Summit , and Annual Conference. Manages logistics for in-person and virtual meetings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Establishes strong, long-term SuperMega chapter relationships that benefits both SHRM and the SuperMega chapters.
Monitor, measure and present recommendations for SuperMega program iinitiatives to ensure financial and operational success in the achievement of our super mega strategy.
Monitor and guide the implementation of the business and operational strategies for overall effectiveness of the SuperMega strategy.
Sets-up scorecard for each SuperMega Chapter, monitors results, and recommends plan of action to stakeholders. Achieve assigned account engagement objectives
Manages the day-to-day requests and coordination of the SHRM's Super Mega chapters.
Rectifies inconsistencies and issues both from the SHRM and SuperMega chapter perceptive.
Manages the sponsorships and booth branding and presence at their annual conferences.
Involved in project teams across the membership team and performs other duties as assigned.
• Proven work experience as a senior account manager.
• Solid association or business management experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of performance metrics and data analytics acumen.
• An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships
• Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Acute attention to detail and display strong organization and communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
• Excel and budget management skills required.
• Administer a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). • Social media platform proficient.
Bachelors Degree in Business Management/ HR/ Marketing, MBA preferred.
Seven to ten years association management with demonstrated experience in, but not limited to, membership/relationship management, account management, project management, marketing.
Experience in Human Resources strongly preferred.
