This position is located at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA

Minimum Qualifications Required
Education:Completion of a professional nursing education program required.BSN preferred.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years' experience in related field required.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration:Current RN license in the state of Virginia required. AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Meets standards on Performance Appraisal including competency validation as appropriate. Demonstrates effective communication and strong organizational skills.Desires to work with new employees. Supports Carilion Clinic's mission, vision, and values.
