As a Lead Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Location for this position is Rosemead, CA. This position may require travel and/or relocaiton.

Qualifications Basic Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred At least 7 years of experience in electrical utility system planning and analysis. At least 4 years of experience creating models and conducting load flow studies , short circuit, system loss and capacitor placement using industry standard software like CYME Should have strong understanding of Electricity Grid Planning and Operation system landscape Understanding of Smart Grid Concepts Atleast 4 years of experience in using electrical modelling tools Should have excellent soft-skills and leadership skills to lead assessment workshops, and work with Enterprise architects to design roadmaps for next 5 years. Experience of at least 1 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power) with hands on Functional and deployment experience Experience in utilities in North America Experience of leading development team, working with client teams/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle. Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability. Ready to travel to client locations as needed.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
