Consultant Banking (Payments)
Consultant - Banking is a role within the management consulting stream in the Financial Services and Insurance vertical of Infosys. This role is to provide both consulting delivery and support sales, with a deep understanding of one or more Banking, Payments and/or Cards.
·Consulting Delivery - Leads team to develop concise and practical digital banking strategies or Digital transformation program recommendations with implementation path. Defines executive recommendations resulting in measurable improvements in customer experience and client's banking performance. Designs concepts, deliverables roadmap and directs supporting data collection. Seeks out client input to better understand needs; develops ideas for how to meet those needs. Link Digital capabilities to business value levers/benefits. Identify or define business requirements.
·Business Development- Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposals, RFP responses and pricing strategies
·Thought Leadership Contributes to thought leadership in new and emerging banking innovations. Identifies and develops knowledge assets. Stays abreast of developments in banking expertise areas and anticipates how they will impact the Practice/Firm. Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
·Practice Leadership - Active member of Banking Practice. Plays key role in attracting broader interest and expertise in the Practice. People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
·Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
·3+ years of relevant work experience in Banking, Payments, Cards or comparable consulting services
·Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations

·At least 3-5 years of experience in banking and paymentsindustry with leadership experience in product development/management, process improvement and re-engineering implementation engagements
·Or business consulting with experience in advising clients with defining business strategy, improve processes, consolidate operations, reduce costs and implement large business transformation programs
·Additional experience in designing user experience, managing transformation programs, developing business case
·Experience in full life cycle banking or payments or cards project implementations
·Understanding of SDLC methodologies and running requirements workshops
·Deep functional expertise in at least one business subject area (banking or payments UX, product management, operations, sales & marketing, etc.)
