Provide leadership and direction by overseeing daily operations, large-scale programming, employer relationships, and major initiatives, primarily within the Brooklyn Wasserman Center. Manage the processing of budget and personnel documentation, ensuring adequate fiscal controls. Develop and supervise professional and office support staff.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, engineering, career counseling, higher education, or related field required.
Preferred Education: Master's degree preferred.
Required Experience: Five years relevant experience in career services, counseling, recruiting, higher education, human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience implementing programs, seminars and events.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Job development and employer relations, leadership, hiring, and training experience. Career planning, assessment, and job search expertise. Excellent communication, presentation, writing and organizational skills. Ability and desire to work with a diverse population at all levels. Knowledge of engineering and STEM careers. Strong technical skills and ability to multitask. Experience supervising staff and overseeing large scale projects.
