You’re at that stage in your recruiting career where you’re confident about your skills and the value you bring to your clients. You see yourself as a collaborative partner and a peer to your hiring managers and you gain credibility quickly.

What do you need to be able do well? • Recruit passive candidates and possess the skills to understand candidate motivations and appeal to those motivations rather than simply selling them on a positon. • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrate ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences. • Recognize opportunities for improvement and recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to making better happen. • Articulate in writing a recruiting plan with deliverables, timelines and a tracking process – you can “show your work.”
What experience do you need to have? • 5-7 years of corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting. • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone, internet, and referral research. • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates. • MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships. • Bachelor's degree.
