Under moderate supervision, may be involved in the following tasks: tax provisions, computations, and statutory returns, correspondence with external revenue/governing bodies, and technology. Prepares and submits standard tax returns, responsible for the more complex computations and information for published accounts and forecasts. Performs research for the department/company in a wide range of tax specialties. Provides expertise to the company's tax issues. Prepares and carries out initial investigations into tax issues under moderate supervision. Contributes to preparation of reports and studies for management attention as requested.
Job Specific Information
Assist with the creation and maintenance of the company's tax technology strategy, define tax data requirements, and create process improvements to ensure the organization's tax strategy is implemented accurately and consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.
Help organize projects, define and articulate requirements and expectations (verbal and written) and lead staff and consultants on all aspects of project delivery
Contribute to the project management office for technology and process improvements by improving efficiency and effectiveness of department processes
Sustain ongoing relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives best in class service
Support the training, learning and development function for the Tax organization
Build working relationships with external training and business partners to identify talent development best practices
Assist in management coordination of the college and university recruitment strategy to support the Tax internship program
Other tax-related duties as needed

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related discipline. Three (3) years directly related experience within a tax/financial field. Excellent analytical skills.
