Senior Consultant Business Consulting (Telecommunications)
Responsibilities: * Work collaboratively with client and other vendor personnel in defining, designing, deploying and delivering data lake projects using Big Data technologies * Apply Design Thinking principles to define solutions for complex business problems across the Telecommuncications value chain * Get involved in senior client discussions, by providing Point-of-Views and conducting Proof-of-Concepts leading to creating a compelling business case for implementing Big Data and Analytics projects * Apply intermediate knowledge of Telecom industry to define specific use-cases and feed it back to Infosys Solutions and Service Offerings * Involvement in additional internal firm building activities such as Knowledge management and recruiting * Lead and support sales efforts for new and existing clients in creation of proposals, preparation and facilitation of sales presentations, plan and participate in client meetings and discussions
Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. * At least 5 years of relevant work experience with three years of experience in comparable consulting services. * Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations. * U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in Telecommunications in Wireless, Wireline, Cable, Sattellite sectors for Voice, Data, Video * Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary. * Ability to interact at all levels of clients organizations particularly with senior leaders at CXO level.
This job may entail an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
