In the role of Principal, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Location for this position is Hartford, CT. This position may require travel and or relocation. The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 11 years of experience in Information Technologies. At least 11 years of experience in implementing and managing end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow Infrastructure programs with multiple stakeholders.
At least 8 years of experience in program management activities like planning, ROM estimation, risk management, status reporting, problem solving, multi-tasking, liaising with multiple teams for managing all the lifecycles of development as well as maintenance projects. Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment At least 5 years experience in ServiceNow implementations. This role will be a part of the larger DT (Design Thinking) workshop . Would be responsible to provide recommendations based on feasibility of certain features and functionalities in ServiceNow Requirements should be documented in such a way that it builds the basis for the later ServiceNow implementation project. Also details on foundation data, user and assignment group, location, manager and AD data should be collected The documentation would also feed into the entire functional and business design which is a deliverable of this project from DT team Resource need not be hands on ServiceNow but understand the overall architecture and functionality of the tool Walk through the forms and workflows in ServiceNow to give the audience an understanding of what I feasible through configuration and what needs customization in ServiceNow Analytical skills Very good communication skill Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
