NYC Media Lab seeks a Manager of Membership Innovation Programs to design and execute a variety of member company projects with faculty and students at NYC universities. Membership programs range in scope and focus, from large scale open innovation challenges and prototype grant programs to targeted technical and strategic questions on media technologies to prototyping and design of new media applications and services.
Creative program design and execution
Effective application of emerging technologies and disciplines to corporate member needs
Consultative project management
Client relationship management
Coordination and facilitation of brainstorming and other ideation processes
Development of project documentation, pitches and grant proposals
Negotiation of statements, work schedules, and intellectual property terms
Public speaking and external relations
Budgeting and administrative details
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience : 4+ years experience in project management
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Evidence of relationship management and communication skills
Knowledge of current topics in digital media and communications, emerging technologies and innovation strategy. Familiarity with media enterprises across content, advertising and technology. Familiarity with university research, technology and knowledge transfer.
