The Behavioral Health Program provides behavioral health services in office, school, community, and home settings on the south and west sides of Chicago. The Bilingual Therapist will provide individual and family therapy, case management, and skill building to children and families in the greater Humboldt Park area, primarily in a school setting.
Therapist responsibilities include:
Provide therapeutic interventions to address the needs and build on the strengths of each child and family.
Provide individualized assessment, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment planning for the client.
Monitor progress toward clients’ goals and objectives and make recommendations for ongoing services when necessary.
Coordinate services with other agencies, systems, and community providers to meet the needs of clients.
Comply with Medicaid standards of practice and documentation.
Master's degree in Social Work or closely related field.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Two years experience working with children and families required.
Clinical licensure in candidate’s field (i.e. LCSW, LCPC) or ability to become licensed within two years of employment required.
Familiarity with trauma-informed service provision preferred.
A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
