NYU’s prestigious Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for a Director, Technology and Client Services. The selected candidate will direct client services activities including Help Desk Services, Classroom & Special Event Support and Faculty & Student Technology Advocacy Support. S/he will develop, plan, implement, monitor and review staff assignments to best achieve Stern IT goals and service level commitments. S/he will develop, plan and implement initiatives, policies and procedures to advance information technology proficiencies and provide support for Stern IT’s client base of students, faculty, administrators, staff and alumni. The selected candidate will participate in the development of strategic and tactical planning for Stern IT's overall improvements.
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred) and a minimum of 7 years related experience managing information systems including supervisory experience. Strong technical skills and proficiency in budget development forecasting are essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills are also required. Experience within an educational intuition is preferred.
