The University of Mississippi’s Department of Health, Exercise Science, and Recreation Management in the School of Applied Sciences invite nominations and applications for 2 full-time (9-month) tenure-track faculty, (1) Assistant/Associate Professor position in Exercise Science AND (2) Assistant Professor position in Health & Kinesiology within the department. The successful candidates are expected to evidence strong potential for research dissemination, pursuing external funding, and teaching and conducting research within the graduate and undergraduate cognate areas of specialty.

Responsibilities of the position include: teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in area of expertise, publishing research in area of specialization, pursuing external funding, developing resources to provide on-going support for research activities, advising undergraduate and mentoring graduate majors, and serving on departmental and university committees.
