Senior Principal - Business Consulting (Business Analytics)
Responsibilities: * As a Senior Principal, perform as an important part of leadership at Infosys Consulting. * Responsible for Consulting sales, delivery of consulting programs, practice development * Sr. Principals are expected to be thought leaders and have the ability to advice and guide clients to success * Consulting business development experience working with client teams, project teams to generate and sell consulting projects including developing industry solutions (Information & Data Management) designing the sales approach, defining target client management, creation and delivery of client pitch and proposals, developing sales campaigns and managing the sales life cycle from lead identification through closing and revenue recognition (2-4 years of experience) * Participate in all aspects of proposal development process * Experience with leading and supervising project teams * Being able to mentor, coach, and develop consultants. * Participate in initiatives around hiring, training and coaching. * Be able to confidently interact with senior leadership within Lines of Business (SVP/VP/SMD/MD/ED) as well as IT (CIO, CTO, VPs, Directors) in presenting organization capabilities, practice credentials, value propositions, solutions.
Required Qualifications: * Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. * At least 12 years of relevant work experience with at least three years of experience in comparable consulting services. * Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations. * U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications: * Approximately 12+ or more years combined financial services industry and consulting experience (within North America ) * At least 2 years of experience in business development, including identification of leads and opportunities, pre-sales and post-sales support and client relationship management * At least 8 years experience delivering major transformation initiatives in business, operation and technology to the Global Fortune 500 * At least 2 years of experience in independently organizing and developing pursuits while working work with cross-unit pursuit teams * At least 2 years of experience writing high quality proposals, and work ingwith leaders to develop pricing strategies * Experience mobilizing and managing teams in designing strategy & blueprint, solution design, guide business requirements, functional design, process design , prototyping, piloting, designing and/or reviewing detailed project plans * Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and nurture relationships within a matrix organization. * Experience presenting organization capabilities, practice credentials, value propositions, solutions to client senior management * Able to deliver and lead oral presentations, anchor business/IT workshops * Should have excellent client relationship management, executive presence, verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills. * Practice Development experience including identifying and focusing on the impact of data and analytics trends on clients functional areas, identifying specific use cases and staying current with best practices in the industry. Defining relevant consulting offers and solutions, leading, coaching and training staff on offers and client pitches and building a team of practitioners for each core offer area focusing on Information Management * Experience with transformation programs and specialization in : Information Management, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Dashboards, Data Governance, Big Data and Analytics, Master Data Management * Experience in Retail, consumer goods and manufacturing industry
