As a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment.You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables.As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building.You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is Berlin-CT. This position may require 10% travel.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
At least 11 years of experience in maintaining and managing an IT infrastructure support function that will administer and support the Groups: -
·System platforms - Server hardware & OS
·Data Centers Operations
·Systems backup processes
At least 11 years of experience in
·Supporting a large user base in a multi-site environment
·Overseeing the management of the Virtual and Physical infrastructure
·Manage team resources and capacity for new and existing projects.
·Lead various technical, infrastructure and application efforts and initiatives.
·Provide technical architecture and support across all applications/servers.
·Analysis of infrastructure and capacity planning for future projects/growth.
·Performing technical system review of third party and custom built application, in addition to application data analysis.
·Facilitating meetings with various technical teams as well as third party vendors.
·Working with Data Center teams to ensure 100% system uptime and application availability as well as system monitoring
·Manage and execute system/application installation, patching, rollouts, releases and upgrades
·Troubleshooting and resolving application and server related issues
Ensure all infrastructure components are administered and maintained in accordance with the client standards.
Ensure upgrades and enhancements are properly planned and implemented to agreed quality standards.
Ensure that the team performs its support duties and within Service Level Agreements.
Act as an escalation point for faults or complaints.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
