Our Risk Analyst’s primary responsibility is to develop and disseminate risk and insurance management analytics to assist in the creation of strategies to manage and mitigate risks across the enterprise and to provide support to all aspects of Risk Management function, including assisting and/or supporting procurement process of corporate insurance data analytics and generation of reports on losses and claim trends for use in quarterly forecasting, accrual accounting, and operational claim report performance trends
Risk Information System Implementation: Design, development, implementation, and overall project management, in conjunction with Risk and Insurance leadership and Broker partners, of a new risk information system. (Project anticipated to last 4 to 6 months.)
Develop mapping and transformation rules, in conjunction with current and new risk information system providers to facilitate transition of data.
Manage conversion process within stated parameters and timeframes. Support all aspects toward project completion.
Risk Information System Administration: On-going system administration (including ensuring data integrity) and technical support for risk information system use in conjunction with Risk Management leadership.
Maintain responsibility for troubleshooting and operational aspects of the system.
Obtain and manage all the risks and claims data.
Provide reports to management, claims and risk department with meaningful claims data.
Serve as resource and trainer to CCS staff and partners in effective use of the system.
Process state and local insurance filings. Ensure compliance with insurance laws.
Manage, update and pull reports from various RMIS as needed.
Ensure data integrity of information within system.
Reconcile RMIS billing on a quarterly basis. Ensure all billings (legal) are processed timely and tracked accordingly.
Serve as liaison on technical aspects of the CCS Origami system between the Risk Management leadership and Brokers, Carriers and Origami teams.
Provide user education on information system delivery modes and capabilities.
Risk Analytics: On-going design and dissemination of risk and insurance metrics (dashboards and graphics) in conjunction with Risk Management leadership.
Standardize the delivery of key metrics (key performance indicators, KPI’s) based on evolving reporting and analytic needs, after consultation with Risk leadership, internal and external customers.
Obtain subject matter expertise around risk and insurance data points and provide recommendations for inclusion of same.
Assist with analytic efforts related to claims, insurance, risk and associated data elements that support the vision of the health network risk and insurance profile/strategies and assist with the presentation of same to key stakeholders.
Develop reports, dashboards and queries with a focus on data visualization.
Act as liaison between Risk/Insurance and other key stakeholder departments (Finance, Quality, Medical Staff, Nursing, etc.,), in gathering and distributing statistical information and metrics.
Prepare relevant actuarial, claim and insurance reports as required by partners in the actuarial, broker, insurance, risk and legal professions.
Drive the development, calculation and analysis of management reports to quantify KPIs.
Communicate impact of KPIs using data visualization and recommend appropriate responses.
Identify key drivers of results and their impact on financial performance premium, investment and capital.
Calculate loss stratification and quantify the impact on various layers of losses including reinsurance layers

Bachelor’s degree in business, management sciences, information technology, risk management or related field.
Five (5) or more years in corporate / healthcare operational reporting/analysis.
Risk management and insurance experience preferred.
Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in multiple programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, SQL.
Knowledge of Pivot tables a MUST.
At least three years demonstrated project management experience.
Planning: ability to think ahead and plan upcoming initiatives including prioritizing workload, developing schedules and meeting deadlines.
Decision Making: ability to weigh options, consider alternatives, forecast outcomes and determine option which is best for the enterprise.

ARM, CPCU or similar, billing certification or similar desired.
