Manages appropriate Technology Support Group applications across Carilion.Manages daily operations including providing services and support to all clients, managing staff, contact with vendors, and implementation of policies and procedures. Provides input to tactical and strategic goals.Champions change and provides excellent client service and support.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education: B.A., B.S. or Masters degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare business or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Must have experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft OneDrive, Citrix XenApp, and VMware ESXi in an enterprise environment. Additionally, must have experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems in an enterprise environment utilizing enterprise management tools such as Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, or other deployment tools. Linux and AIX Unix experience preferred. Must have familiarity with enterprise class storage platforms as well. Strong project and time management skills a must.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Must be self initiated team player with strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.Capable of prioritizing multiple complex problems and meeting deadlines.Professional with advanced oral and written communication skills.Intermediate/advanced level word-processing, spreadsheet, project management and PC software skills required.Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional overnight travel, overtime, weekends, and participate in after hours on call support.
