Be involved in directing and coordinating the objectives, initiatives and programs for the delivery of clinical counseling services to patients. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Assist providers in the diagnosis of disorders, including nature and extent, and determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Provide appropriate care while following regulatory compliance requirements. Maintain appropriate records in the electronic healthcare record.
National board certification required.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Master’s Degree in Social Work.
Clinic setting experience preferred but not required.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a desire to work in a team-based atmosphere and a cooperative spirit required.
Requires good human relations/communication skills; clinical expertise in counseling and managing patient care plans.
Contributes to high quality care provided in a care team approach.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge/skills necessary to provide the care appropriate to the age of the patient.
Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status in addition to ability to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
Ability to coordinate patient care efforts with physicians, other care providers, and office staff.
Minimum 3 years experience in individual counseling preferred.
