Counsel and advise students and alumni regarding career objectives and employment opportunities. Develop and manage the implementation of career development resources, events, and programs for the Office of Career Development, including web-based services; conduct workshops and seminars. Recruit employers and industry professionals for the development of career and internship opportunities for TSOA students.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education: Master's degree in student services or fine arts.
Required Experience: 3 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with developing and delivering programs, services, events, and counseling.
Preferred Experience: Experience in an arts/academic setting. Grant writing experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Familiarity with current and emerging technologies. Ability to develop and deliver career workshops and services on-line. Must have strong customer or client services orientation. Ability to interact with a diverse population. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Working knowledge of world-wide-web protocols and HTML.
