The ASUN Conference is accepting applications for an internship position as Video Broadcast Assistant. The 12-month temporary position will begin no later than September 1. Total 12-month stipend is $22,000.

- Assist in marketing and promoting the ASUN and its student-athletes through video
- Coordinate with campus ESPN staffs to produce championship broadcasts and special events
- Edit and produce weekly videos and all-conference videos - Create post-production content (promo pieces, highlight videos, player profiles)
- Assist in evaluating campus ESPN3 broadcasts remotely
- Conduct on-camera interviews with student-athletes and coaches
- Assist Senior Director of Championships in ASUN Championship event management.
The successful applicant will work in the ASUN office in Macon, Georgia. Weekend hours, evening work, and travel will be a significant component of the position. Flexible office hours and the opportunity for remote site working will be expected and accommodated.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; background in video editing and broadcast strongly desired - Must be able to work numerous projects at one time and work on tight deadlines to get video on the website and social media in a timely manner - Demonstrated expertise in written and oral communication - Must be goal- and task-oriented and possess excellent organization skills - Knowledge of storytelling - Experience with editing programs (i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro or similar program) is a requirement. Experience working with motion graphics is preferred. Experience working on the production side of athletic broadcasts is preferred (Xpression graphics, Ross Switchers, 3-Play, etc.) - A minimum of two years’ experience in athletic video production is required; preference will be given to candidates with collegiate sports experience
The ASUN is an NCAA Division I conference with eight member institutions: Florida Gulf Coast University, Jacksonville University, Kennesaw State University, Lipscomb University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, University of North Florida, University of South Carolina Upstate and Stetson University; the University of North Alabama will join effective July 1, 2018.
