The NYU IT Program Manager for Student Relationships is tasked with facilitating effective communication between NYU IT and the student body. In this role, the Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for engaging NYU IT with various student constituencies in an effort to improve the student experience at NYU.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree within Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Required Experience: 5+ years of work experience in relationship management in a large and or complex organization. IT relationship management experience with programs such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Workday.
Preferred Experience: 8+ years’ experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Great people and project management skills. Excellent written and oral/ presentation communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interface/ collaborate with individuals and teams throughout the organization. Ability to manage university expectations. Knowledge of best practices project management methodologies.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Goal driven with a high degree of self-motivation. Proven track record in managing and developing relationships and delivering continuous results.
