Lead and direct all inbound and outbound sales activities within Terminix Contact Center(s). Responsible for meeting objectives for each sales operating unit within the Contact Center.
Responsibilities 1. Manages, develops and leads a team of sales supervisors and representatives. 2. Establishes challenging sales goals for teams and individuals. 3. Creates an environment conducive to meeting sales objectives. 4. Coaches and counsels team members to improve performance. 5. Recommends incentives, compensation strategies and promotions to increase productivity and team performance. 6. Works closely with other members of the Contact Center and field operations to ensure overall success of Terminix. 7. Creates and manages all financial aspects of sales department budget. 8. Investigates and resolves systemic customer issues as necessary. 9. Creates and monitors department metrics to evaluate success. 10. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis in sales and/or marketing.
Three years sales experience in business to consumer, contact center, or direct sales supervision.
Direct experience in creating, leading and developing a sales team.
Knowledge of Terminix services preferred.
Appropriate certifications pertaining to pest control preferred.
Experience improving department sales performance/goals.
Experience managing profit and loss financial statements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to analyze key operating data to lead sales effort.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Effective written and oral communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings of customers and/or associates.
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
