5 to 7 years' experience in facilities management including staff management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing a research and development facility and / or health sciences complex.
Facilities management experience in the area of life science, and/or scientific research is required, including familiarity with GMP facilities, GxP practices and vivarium facilities.
Knowledge of LEED standards, and a commitment to sustainability in ongoing maintenance, support and development of building systems.
Exceptional leadership skills and experience leading a team/department.
Bachelor's Degree in the facilities/engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Microsoft Office, Proficient in Maximo CMMS or comparable work order management system, CAD and or Revit, Microsoft Project, JCI Metasys or equivalent Building Automation System.
Applicant must also have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced health care environment. He or she must be professional and courteous and be skilled in maintaining a positive relationship with customers. Excellent communication skills.
Experience managing a research and development facility or health sciences campus.
Continued Education Classes in operating and programming JCI Metasys system.
Managing in a Union environment.
Special Work Schedule Requirements: Required to be on site during emergency situations related to weather and/or man made such as power outages and scheduled utility shut downs.
